Oak Flooring

Old growth timbers come from structures such as barns, homes and factories that have stood for well over a hundred years. These buildings have become no longer usable in their present condition and instead of demolishing them to take to a landfill, we carefully disassemble them and remill the lumber into usable building products such as flooring, wall paneling etc. By using reclaimed wood that was harvested over a hundred years ago, we are lessening the damage to valuable ecosystems and reducing the destructive over harvesting of the new wood plantations and forests.

Resawn White Oak

Reclaimed Antique White Oak has been our number one requested species over the last 8 years. Antique White Oak is known for its strength, durability and water resistant qualities, which makes it the perfect flooring for any room. It’s coloring consists of deeper golden hues with light tans to medium browns. It can have some unique irregular grain patterns, but mostly consists of straighter, tighter grain patterns. It has a Janka Hardness Scale rating of 1360.

Resawn Red Oak

Resawn Antique Red Oak is great for any project from flooring to furniture. Coloring is light tan to medium browns with some reddish tint mixed in. It is slightly more porous and has more open grain with less prominent flecking than white oak. It has a Janka Hardness Scale rating of 1290.

Colonial / Original Circle Sawn Oak

Colonial Oak is a mix of red oak and white oak barn boards that have been distressed and weathered from over a century of use. The face of these aged boards is lightly planed to give them their “distressed” or rustic look. The blending together of the red and white oak, gives this floor a beautiful mix of complimenting colors and character.

Oak Attic Floor

This style of antique flooring preserves its history and age by keeping its original walked-smooth surface. Extra time and care goes into this floor from the start by carefully removing each piece by hand, one at a time, being sure not to damage the patina. The beauty of this amazingly rustic floor will have you feeling like you are walking back in time.
